So I walked into work this past Friday. For work, 9 to 6, the final day we're open for business.

Imagine my surprise when I saw a schedule. Here's a breakdown:

._." (That can't be right)
-.- *calculating*
O.O; (AWAH!?)

Um, yeah. I'm doing a little more than wishing them well on the closing... I'M PACKING AND MOVING INVENTORY FOR 56 HOURS!

At least I'll be paid for the efforts, right...? -.-;

On a brighter note, I HAZ SEEN THE AWESOME THAT IS STAR TREK XI! It was very nice! I LIKE!

I especially liked the red shirt. Guy wears red, has english accent, about to jump with Sulu and Kirk. AHAHAHAHA. I know what happens next.

And yet it was the surprising fluidity and motion of the movie that was charming. The flashes of light, the organic feeling of characters, the explanation for it all... All beautifully done.

There has also been an alarming number of cats around me recently. One in particular took a liking to me during my palmistry courses. I was sitting cross-legged on my chair, it batted me with its front paws three seperate times.

Then it jumped on my lap.

Then, the week after, it took a 5-hour nap on my bag. Just like that.

Cats like me, dogs don't. Does that mean I'm feminine... or allergic?


Things you learn working at a hardware store:

-Exacto knives are disturbingly sharp. I mean CRAP! I sort of slide it across paper and there is a clean slice! O.o

-Mummies should have been made with plastic wrap. Plastic wrap yay.

-Tape is your friend. Tape loves you. You love tape. Tape and you make many box babies and pack them in a van.

-Black clothes and concrete dust don't mix.

Packing days are casual days. Don't wear your black pants and shoes. -.-;
